A trip to Disneyland would not be complete without enjoying Downtown Disney. An outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment district connected to the Disneyland Resort Hotels and located in walking distance between Disneyland and California Adventure. Featuring a number of great restaurants, unique stores and a variety of live entertainment that can be found in the promenade and at select Restaurants.

  1. Open Late, Downtown Disney is open later than the resort parks, which is a great time to enjoy the stores and late night dining.
  1. Two Hour Free Parking, Is available in the Downtown Disney parking lot.
  1. Free Access to Downtown Disney, A park ticket is not required to enter Downtown Disney. We like to spend a couple of days enjoying Downtown Disney and the Anaheim area on the days we do not have access to the parks.
  1. Savings, Do you have an Annual Pass, a Disney Visa or subscribe to D23 quarterly magazine? If you have any one of these, you can enjoy discounts on your purchases and dining in Downtown Disney.
  1. ATM Machines, can be found: across from Haagen-Dazs and next to the Lego Store.
  1. Washrooms, Aside from each restaurant having washrooms for patrons, you will also find public accessible washrooms:
  • Behind Wetzel’s Pretzels
  • Behind the Lego Store under the Monorail
  • World of Disney Store
  1. Emergencies, First Aid services can be found between Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen and Island Charters.
  1. Lost Children, are taken to the Lost Children location inside Disneyland Park. At the end of Main Street USA., next to First Aid.
  1. Lost and Found, for the entire Disneyland Resort is located at the Guest Services building, left of the main entrance to Disneyland.
  1. Crowds, Downtown Disney tends to be less crowded on weekdays.
  1. Pin Trading, Is available in Downtown Disney as well as the parks, look for the Cast Member wearing the lanyard at the Pin Trading booth, beside the Monorail Station.
  1. Fireworks, Are viewable from the Downtown Disney promenade you will see them best over looking the House of Blues.
  1. Alamo Car Rental, Is available in Downtown Disney, if you are thinking of renting a car for an excursion.
