Groundhog Day was yesterday and the results were a bit at odds.  One Groundhog did not see his shadow, which means winter is over.  However Punxsutawney Phil, the most notable Groundhog did see his shadow, which sadly means six more weeks of winter…

We went to the Vancouver Game Farm in the hopes that we could see for ourselves. Unfortunately, we did not find a groundhog and it would appear that of all the animals we watched, none of them saw a shadow.  We will just have to wait and see what the weather does, hoping Punxsutawney Phil is wrong.
