Great Hotels, Are in walking distance. Over the years we have stayed at numerous hotels in walking distance of Disneyland. This is a great way to save money on your stay. A number of hotels have a variety of amenities to suit your needs. For myself, I need a pool and a hot tub after a long day of walking. That is my main criteria for a hotel. Getting an extra hour in the morning before the park opens to enjoy the rides is simply amazing. Park purchases can be delivered to your hotel and purchases can also be charged with your room key. The California Grand also has a viewing deck for the World of Color show.  Another perk is that staying at one of the Disneyland hotels enables you to use the amenities of any of the Disneyland Resort hotels. Staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel also gives you the benefit of having just a short walk to enjoy Downtown Disney. The California Grand has it’s own entrance into the California Adventure park which is great, in fact the entrance from the lobby to the park puts you right in front of “The Grizzly Run ride.” This entrance and exit can be used throughout the day for guests staying in the resort hotel.  This is great for a quick rest in your room or to access any of the hotel amenities.  The front lobby of the Paradise Pier is literally across the street from the California Grand. If you choose to stay at the Paradise Pier, it is a short walk through the California Grand Lobby to get to Downtown Disney.
