An absolute treasure of a restaurant, just a few blocks up from Venice beach pier, we enjoyed the menu immensely…

Drunken French Toast, which is bourbon-infused French Toast, wow!  Add a Cocoa Puff cereal infused bourbon Old Fashioned another wow!   So nice we went Twice actually three times.  The best place to be for national French Toast day is Nighthawk Restaurant.  You might also like to try the Bigbird and Shortstack, which is an amazing sweet potato pancake topped with buttermilk fried chicken, cookie dough butter, scallions, and maple syrup, they also have an excellent happy hour.  Definitely worth stopping by for and more than once.
