Disneyland Top Restaurants

Disneyland has a fantastic selection of restaurants in the park that are worth noting. When ever we visit the park, we have a number of places that are an absolute must to stop and enjoy.  The Carnation Cafe, Cafe Orleans and the Plazza Inn to name a few…

  1. Carnation Café, Main Street USA, We eat at the Carnation Café often, they have an awesome breakfast especially, the French Toast. The Carnation Café also has Disneylands longest serving Cast Member since 1955, Chef Oscar Martinez. He is now the Ambassador of the Carnation Café, stop by and say Hi!
  1. Little Red Wagon, Main Street USA, Disneyland does have the best Corn Dog you will find anywhere. You cannot come to Disneyland without trying one of these Corn Dogs!
  1. Plazza Inn, Main Street USA, A buffet style restaurant with delicious Fried Chicken and Waffles and a really nice atmosphere with plenty of seating inside and out.
  1. Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, Main Street USA, Great Sandwiches try the Oven Roasted Turkey on Ciabatta it is terrific and the pastries, go for the Matterhorn Macaroon, or the brand new 60th Anniversary cupcake. 
  1. Aladdin’s Oasis, Adventureland, Let Aladdin and Jasmine entertain you while you dine or you can purchase a “Grab and Go” meal which includes a Fast Pass for the Fantasmic show.
  1. Bengal Barbeque, Adventureland, Here you will find the best skewers of Sweet or Spicy Beef, Chicken, Bacon wrapped Asparagus or vegetable. These kabobs are fantastic, You must try one!
  1. Royal Street Veranda, New Orleans Square, Chowder or Gumbo in a bread bowl, we absolutely love this Gumbo! You must try it!
  1. Café Orleans, New Orleans Square, Is our top favorite restaurant in the park with the Monte Cristo sandwich, Gumbo and Pomme Frites. We would never go to the park without a meal or two here. A must try!
  1. Blue Bayou, New Orleans Square, Has a similar menu to Café Orleans the big difference is the atmosphere, Blue Bayou is inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The atmosphere in this restaurant is wonderful! Certainly put it on your list of must do’s! Try the Creole brined Bone in Pork chop served with garlic mashed potatoes!
  1. Club 33, New Orleans Square, A restaurant for VIP Members only. This is the only restaurant in the park where alcohol is served. The waiting list is extremely long to become a member. If you want a drink with alcohol, you will have to head over to California Adventure or visit a Restaurant outside of the park..
  1. French Market, New Orleans Square, Has an incredible Jambalaya as well as the Royal Street Chicken Caesar or try the Creamy Corn Chowder while you enjoy listening to a live Jazz show.
  1. Hungry Bear Restaurant, Critter Country, Try a fantastic Chili Cheeseburger or the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, both are delicious while you enjoy a relaxing view sitting along side the Rivers of America.
  1. Harbour Gallery, Critter Country, Great waterfront meal, try the fisherman’s salad or the lobster roll, or the barbecue chicken stuffed baked potato you will be glad you did. 
  1. River Belle Terrace, Frontierland, Enjoy Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast or a Turkey Sandwich with beans for lunch.
  1. Stage Door Café, Frontierland, Corn Dogs, Fish and Chips or Chicken Strips and for dessert, the Fantasy Funnel Cake.
  1. The Golden Horseshoe, Frontierland, Another favorite of ours! Enjoy a laugh with a delicious bread bowl of Chili. This is another venue we would never miss! Arrive early for the scheduled shows to obtain the best seating.
  1. Rancho Del Zocalo Restaurant, Frontierland, Here you will find delicious Mexican food. Go for the Street Taco Trio with Chicken and Beef, Fantastic!
  1. Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue  Delicious all you can eat Chicken and Ribs. Save room for, Chef Cookie’s deep dish, hot chocolate chip cookies served with ice cream and hot fudge on top, it is fabulous. Get them while you can, rumour is Big Thunder Ranch is closing forever to make way for a new land?
  1. Village Haus Restaurant, Fantasyland, Here you will find a fantastic Angus Cheeseburger! 
  1. Edelweiss Snacks, Fantasyland, Hot buttered Corn on the Cob is the perfect snack between meals, or if you prefer to make it a meal add a Hickory smoked Turkey leg!
  1. Toontown Dining, Toontown, Stop by Daisy’s Diner for a slice of Pizza. Go to Pluto’s for a Hotdog, or to Clarabelle’s for a Turkey Club sandwich and a Yogurt parfait for dessert.
  1. Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port, Tomorrowland, A great quick lunch. Try the Supernova Pizza made with Pepperoni, Salami, Chorizo, Chicken, Bacon & Pepperoncinni.
