Bellingham WA Top Treats

img_7426fAnthony’s Restaurant has several of the best desserts found anywhere.  The lava cake is out of this world, it does however take 20 minutes to bake, so order this one in advance.  Included with the Sunset Dinner, you have the choice of a Hot fudge Sundae, an incredible Burnt Cream or an amazing  Bailey’s Irish Cream Chocolate Mousse. Secret tip: dine with at least 3 other people and you can share all four!

They are made without any filler, just melt in the mouth pillows of heaven! They offer up many fresh daily seafood dishes. My absolute favorite is the Sunset Dinner, you definitely must try it, available weekdays until 6pm.  This four course meal consists of an appetizer, salad, entrée and dessert.  This dinner is phenomenal and the quality at this price cannot be beat…

The Fragrance Lake trail is an easy 5.5 mile round trip hike.  Enjoy the scent of bark and pine as you make your way through this old growth forest.  The entrance can be found on Chuckanut Drive across from the main entrance to Larabee state park.  A Discover pass is required to park here and leashed dogs are permitted.  This will surely please and offer up a solid work out with some steep inclines. Make sure you bring plenty of water and a camera to snap some gorgeous scenic shots.

Boulevard Park Bellingham WA

Bellingham offers a splendid bike trail, which runs along the ocean from Bellingham to Fairhaven. Boulevard Park is a great place to stop along the way where you will find a beach and playground. Stop and enjoy a coffee and a hot fresh cinnamon bun from Woods Coffee located in the park right on the waters edge. And believe me, the cinnamon bun is worth the stop.
